Real Life Through the Art of Expression

As a self-taught, freelance, artist and author I'm on a constant search for knowledge on how to hone my craft. I've been told, many times, that when you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. I'm enjoying all of this!

The Blocks
An ASPIRING Story of Failure and Perseverance
For a long time, I fortified a bunch of weak blocks with a facade of strength. I plastered my walls with fancy paint jobs and dressed them in nice adornments. However, with no warning, things happened that exposed the weakness of my foundation and exposed all my shortcomings and insecurities.

No longer was I able to hide behind the fallacies that I had put out to the world. The ironic thing about all this is that in some way, I believe I needed a push. I needed my fake walls to be broken down so that I could start over and secure my foundation. Since being torn down, I have since been forced to take a long look in the mirror and figure out some things about myself.

I'm not done working. My house is far from complete. My blocks are bare. But, in the meantime, I'm fortifying my foundations, getting rid of the unnecessary waste, cleaning out the gutters, fortifying my roof and when this house is complete, I'll be ready to fill it with the fruits of my labor.

These are the first steps. The cry for help has gone out and been received. Now, the real work begins. Thanks for coming along this journey with me. I have BIG things in store!
